- Blunt trauma (e.g., sports injury or fall): Gently apply a cold compress without pressure and call us or go to the nearest emergency room.
- Foreign object in the eye: Avoid rubbing your eye, try blinking or rinsing with sterile saline, and contact us right away if the object remains or causes pain.
- Scratches or punctures: Do not touch or rinse the eye, cover it gently with a clean shield or cloth, and get urgent medical help immediately.
