Clear Vision Without the Spectacles

One thing we always want is options. It’s human nature. Contact lenses are precisely that: an option for people looking to improve their vision, without using glasses.

There are plenty of reasons why you may want to switch to contact lenses. If you are tired of being restricted to 1 or 2 pairs of frames or your glasses get in the way, contacts can add a level of versatility without sacrificing your vision.

From your personalized eye exam to your custom fitting and lens care education, we make the transition easy and comfortable. Contact us to schedule your contact lens exam and fitting, and get options when it comes to your vision correction.

What to Expect During Your Contact Lens Exam

Kindly let our staff know of your interest in being fitted for contact lenses when you book your eye exam. By giving your optometrist notice, they can tailor their exam to make sure your eyes are a good match for contact lenses.

Once your optometrist helps you find the right contact lenses for your eyes, you will visit our fabulous team of optometric assistants for contact lens training. This training will teach you proper techniques on how to take care of your contact lenses, as well as how to properly insert and remove your contacts from your eyes.

Are Contact Lenses Right for You?

While many enjoy the freedom contact lenses provide, they may not be suitable for everyone. Certain eye conditions or lifestyles can affect contact lens wear, such as:

  • Recurring eye infections
  • Severe allergies
  • Dry eye issues
  • Frequent exposure to dusty or dirty environments

Our team will thoroughly evaluate your eyes and discuss your lifestyle to find the best solution for you.

Our Specialty Contacts

We understand that not all eyes and not all vision needs are the same. That’s why we offer a variety of specialty contact lenses designed to address specific conditions and lifestyle preferences.

Whether you struggle with astigmatism, need help seeing clearly at all distances, want to manage myopia, or seek comfort in changing light conditions, we have the perfect lens solution to keep your vision sharp and your eyes comfortable.

Explore our range of modern specialty contacts and discover how they can enhance your daily life.

Toric contact lenses are an innovative solution that helps solve issues that wearers with astigmatism might experience.

It can be hard to wear contact lenses if you have astigmatism, which makes the shape of your cornea irregular. Toric lenses are designed to correct different prescriptions along each axis, sitting comfortably on your cornea to correct your vision problems without discomfort.

Another issue patients with astigmatism might experience is that their contact lenses may rotate, resulting in intermittent blurry vision. Toric contacts are weighted in the centre or along the bottom to keep them stable and help resolve this problem.

If you want the freedom of contact lenses but need glasses for reading or seeing up close, multifocal contact lenses could be the perfect solution. These lenses have multiple prescription zones built into them to help your eyes focus clearly on objects at different distances, from near to far.

This allows you to see well whether you are working on your computer, reading a book, or driving without having to switch between different glasses. Multifocal lenses offer a comfortable and convenient way to enjoy sharp vision all day long.

Rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses are smaller, durable lenses that allow more oxygen to reach the cornea compared to traditional soft lenses. They provide crisp, stable vision and can be an excellent option for patients with astigmatism, irregular corneas, or those who need sharper vision than soft lenses can provide.

Although they may take a short adjustment period, many patients find RGP lenses comfortable and cost-effective in the long run.

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is becoming more common in children and often worsens as they grow. MiSight 1 Day contact lenses are an FDA-approved option designed specifically to help slow the progression of myopia in children. These daily disposable lenses gently redirect light to focus correctly on the retina, improving clarity and reducing the speed at which nearsightedness worsens.

MiSight lenses provide effective vision correction and give parents peace of mind about their child’s eye health.

We also offer other myopia control contact lens options such as ortho-k, just ask our team!

As children grow, their myopia, or nearsightedness, can progress rapidly, causing frequent changes in prescription as their eyesight worsens. Acuvue Abiliti 1-Day contact lenses are daily disposable contacts made from silicone hydrogel for a comfortable fit. They include RingBoost™ technology with a specialized optical design made to slow myopia progression in children.

Abiliti lenses provide clear, crisp vision while reducing prescription changes. With Class 1 UV protection for your child’s eyes, Abiliti contact lenses are designed to keep your kid’s eyes safe, comfortable, and clear.

Orthokeratology (ortho-k) lenses are specially designed contacts that your child wears while they sleep. Overnight, the lenses gently reshape the cornea so they can see clearly during the day without glasses or daytime contacts.

Beyond clear vision, ortho-k is one of the most effective ways to slow the progression of childhood myopia, helping to protect your child’s long-term eye health.
